Candy is now home from surgery and doing well. I wanted to give everyone and update and reiterate how thankful our local PAWS organization is for your generosity in helping this sweet kitten. The surplus will go to Candy’s aftercare, as well as ongoing care for she and her litter-mates, and also towards the fund to build a local shelter. Once again, thank you all! I can’t say it enough. :)

UPDATE: Thank you soooo much everyone! I’m amazed by your wonderful display of kindness—thanks to you, we’ve reached our goal and then some! Thanks again to Tracy, who re-posted this to raise awareness of our cause.
I volunteer at my local PAWS organization (we’re raising money to afford a proper shelter, but currently we foster animals in our homes), and we have a kitten named Candy who is in need of life-saving surgery. I’ve been frantically posting Candy’s ChipIn link, but donations are only trickling in—we need to raise the money by December 1st, and it breaks my heart to think they may have to euthanize Candy. Please help! No donation is too small!
